The Education Built to Fit Your Schedule
There is one thing that every soldier knows. That is, getting a college education is valuable, but difficult. When they are constantly deployed overseas or in the middle of assignments at home, it can be difficult for members of the armed forces to get the studies in when they need them most.
But it gets worse. The College Opportunity and Affordability Act of 2008 was created by Congress because people discovered that many people were taking advantage of military personnel and offering them degrees from people with no credentials. This is a step forward. The Act requires that online colleges that receive federal funds should verify that the student is completing coursework. This ensures that students are not taken advantage of by degree mills.
Military personnel should probably look to receive tuition assistance for military VA approved programs. Online mba schools can allow people to study on their own time and complete coursework on their own schedule and they can be perfect for people who are looking for a more flexible schedule and more flexible opportunities.
That being said, students should understand that higher price tags do not always mean better education. Sometimes a school will simply charge more than another. Of course, GPA often depends on the school. But the average GPA for students who are entering MBA programs is 3.5. Affordable online mba programs are a good choice for younger students too. But before they obtain an MBA online, they might want to obtain a bachelor of business administration online.
The bachelor of business administration online or from a brick and mortar school is not required, though a bachelors degree typically will be. Studying for a bachelor’s degree is something that all students would do well to aspire to. Diligent study will get them a long way.
